Legendary Drummer, Mike Clark, the Godfather of Linear Funk, and his quartet including Charles McNeal saxophone, Nick Manson piano, and Dwight Killian bass, plus guest vocalist Sandra Bassett, will be performing at the Mesa Jazz and Blues Theater at 5255 E Brown Rd Mesa 85205 on October 8 at 7:00 PM.

FREE EVENT:   The Mesa Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Mesa Jazz and Blues. This is a pre-kick-off of the new season.
After the ribbon cutting, Performing artist Jeff Burkett will perform his solo Sir Elton John tribute for about 45 minutes.

This is a free concert; just RSVP because seating is limited for this event.

We feature rock classics from "When Will I Be Loved", "That'll Be The Day" and "Poor, Poor Pitiful Me", to some of the most lovely ballads ever recorded, like  "Blue Bayou", "Love Has No Pride" and "Long, Long Time".
