Mesa Jazz and Blues Theater is an intimate venue with seating for only 358. During the week, the venue is used by the Connect Church. On Saturdays it is rented by Mesa Jazz and Blues Theater to produce music concerts.

It isn't often that we get to see a "Star in the Making" perform up close and personal before she becomes that huge Star and begins performing in Sold Out Arenas. But we have that opportunity right here at the C C Performing Arts Theater in Mesa. Sandra Bassett, International R&amp;B and Jazz vocalist can sing any style music, but she loves Motown and that is what she will perform for us: ​Born and raised in Detroit, Sandra has the Motown music in her blood, and she just oozes with passion about the music. In 2018 she performed in Kyoto Japan to an enthusiastic audience. In September 2021 Sandra performed to a very excited audience at the Mesa Jazz and Blues Theater, and because of so much demand, we are having her back to perform her Christmas Show: "Sandra Bassett's Motown Christmas".

Legendary Drummer, Mike Clark, the Godfather of Linear Funk, and his quartet including Charles McNeal saxophone, Nick Manson piano, and Dwight Killian bass, plus guest vocalist Sandra Bassett, will be performing at the Mesa Jazz and Blues Theater at 5255 E Brown Rd Mesa 85205 on October 8 at 7:00 PM.

FREE EVENT:   The Mesa Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Mesa Jazz and Blues. This is a pre-kick-off of the new season.
After the ribbon cutting, Performing artist Jeff Burkett will perform his solo Sir Elton John tribute for about 45 minutes.

This is a free concert; just RSVP because seating is limited for this event.
